916th Contracting Battalion leaders case colors for inactivation

Lt. Col. Robert Jarzyna (left)and Sgt. Maj. The inactivation of the battalion is a result of force structure changes directed by the secretary of the Army to adapt the service's force generation process to the needs of a contingency force. Jarzyna served as commander of the 916th CBN and Dorsey served as the battalion sergeant major.

At its annual conference April 29 in San Antonio, the American Society for Cytotechnology marked the 50th anniversary of the Cytotechnology Program at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston by honoring former students and former and current staff members of the program. 2017 Spring Bike Rodeo highlights bicycle safety

Children ages 8-13 years old line up to put their bicycle riding skills to a test against one another April 8. The Bicycle Rodeo program targets elementary and middle school students to provide bicycle safety information and guidance. Bike rodeo is an opportunity for kids and adults to increase their riding skills by negotiating several obstacles and/or tracks, testing their riding abilities. Individuals also got the opportunity to get their bike inspected, tuned up and bike registered.
