Who We Are:
The 502d Civil Engineer Group (CEG) manages Joint Base San Antonio’s infrastructure and resources, operates military housing and environment programs, and provides emergency management and explosives ordnance disposal services.

The group manages one of the most diverse and complex infrastructure portfolios in the Department of Defense. Spread across multiple installations and operating bases, the 502nd Civil Engineer Group sustains all structural facilities encompassing more than 40,000,000 square feet of office space dispersed across more than 45,000 acres that forms JBSA.

The 502nd CEG is comprised of the 502d Civil Engineer Squadron, 802d Civil Engineer Squadron and 902d Civil Engineer Squadron and Civil Engineer Resource, or CER, Division; consisting of 1,302 civilian and 66 military authorizations.

Mission:
Provide customer service to JBSA natural and built infrastructure to support mission readiness Support Executive Agents through CE governance and processes to senior commanders, mission partners, and tenant organizations on JBSA.
