Housing Health Registry added to all installation community resource guides

The Community Resource Guide digitally connects service members and Families to available resources based on their identified need. By linking the Housing Environmental Health Response Registry to the CRG, Army Public Health Center is hoping to leverage this resource to make sure all housing residents are getting the word about the Registry.

Army announces Expert Soldier Badge

Army senior leaders announced the implementation of the Expert Soldier Badge June 14. Similar to the Expert Infantryman Badge and the Expert Field Medical Badge, the ESB will allow commanders the opportunity to recognize Soldiers outside the Infantry, Special Forces and medical communities who have met a high standard of performance in physical fitness and warfighting tasks.

SERE specialists showcase training for recruiters

Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape cadre are responsible for both the four-day Evasion and Conduct After Capture Course and the 15-day SERE Specialist Training Orientation Course at JBSA-Lackland. ECAC was the first stop for recruiters from the 330th RCS who travelled from across the United States to attend this biannual squadron training intended to immerse recruiters into SERE training in order for them to be better able to recruit Air Force SERE candidates.

DOD seeks feedback from Airmen, families on Housing Resident Bill of Rights

The Department of Defense is asking current residents of military privatized housing to provide feedback on a draft version of a Resident Bill of Rights. Families living in privatized housing can expect to receive an emailed letter from the Office of the Secretary of Defense which provides instructions on how to complete the survey which is being administered by CEL & Associates, Inc., a third-party consulting firm.
