Alamo Wing Reservists participate in Swift Response 2019

Houston Texans star Lamar Miller hosts football camp at JBSA-Randolph

Houston Texans running back Lamar Miller (left) hosted a football camp for about 150 Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph Air Force Base youth from the first through eighth grades July 1-2. Miller, who has been with the Texans for three seasons, led the football camp to help military children to learn the game of football and live healthier lifestyles.

The majority of fireworks-related incidents are due to amateurs attempting to use professional-grade, homemade, or other illegal fireworks or explosives. In 2017, eight people died and more than 12,000 needed medical treatment due to these incidents.

Air Force BRAC program reaches innovation milestone

Christiana Hewitt, a BRAC environmental coordinator with the Air Force Civil Engineer Center's Base Realignment and Closure program, accesses GeoBase at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland June 20. A BRAC team developed and transferred geospatial data for 39 BRAC installations onto the Air Force GeoBase, which centralizes all geospatial data and utilizes modern information procedures and technology to display and query data quickly and accurately.
