Fort Sam Houston honors native culture for American Indian Heritage Month
December 3, 2015
Members of United San Antonio Pow-Wow, Inc. form a circle and strike the drum in unison with covered mallets at the Jimmy Brought Fitness Center on JBSA-Fort Sam Houston Nov. 21. The men then blended their voices with the beating of the drum to create songs. The songs are often in the Indian language of the drum members.

The program provides commanders with graphic information before operations begin to help make key decisions during the process of humanitarian operations.

North Central Federal Clinic adds 800 patient slots

The Air Force is opening 800 additional patient slots to TRICARE Prime beneficiaries ages 2 to 64 at the North Central Federal Clinic, located at 17440 Henderson Pass in San Antonio. Services at the clinic include primary care, pharmacy, lab, radiology, mental health and patient education.

Schertz council passes motion to adopt study recommendations
