Social Media helps unite Hearts Apart

Members of the 724th Aeromedical Staging Flight helped augment the 433rd Medical Group during the Lackland Reservists' overseas annual tour July 2008 at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. The 433rd MDG spent much of their time inventorying and testing Contigency Aeromedical Staging Facility War Reserve Materiel. The CASF is a unique, modular aeromedical staging facility that is designed to support world-wide expeditionary contingencies.

Geekbus visits sixth graders at Lackland ISD

The Geekbus visited Lackland Independent School District Jan. 29-30 as part of an initiative created by San Antonio Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Connectory to motivate and inspire students to explore careers in STEM fields. Aboard the bus, students learn about advances in technology, renewable energy and computer programming, with an in-class portion where they learn video game software and build controllers from common materials. Lackland IDS was the initial stop for the Geekbus program.
