Verna Cyr, a 12th Mission Support Group Environmental Flight natural resource manager, observes Michael Pacheco, a 12th Flying Training Wing Safety, U.S. Department of Agriculture wildlife biologist, as he inspects a young Red Shouldered hawk after a grounds worker at the golf course reported finding it here Tuesday. The two coordinated with a local bird rehabilitation facility, who recommended replacing the hawk in its nest to allow the parents to rehabilitate it.
