JBSA intramurals promote competition, fitness, camaraderie

Active-duty members, military retirees and 
Department of Defense civilians are staying fit, competing and experiencing unit camaraderie by participating in intramural sports programs at Joint Base San Antonio. 
Each year hundreds of JBSA members participate in intramural sports programs offered by the 502nd Force Support Squadron at JBSA locations, including flag football, basketball, volleyball, softball and soccer.

Fitness center schedules holiday events

Department of Defense ID cardholders will have an opportunity to get a jump start on their New Year’s fitness resolutions at a pair of annual events in the coming weeks at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph. The Rambler Fitness Center will host the Holiday 10-Mile Bike Ride at 8 a.m. Saturday at Eberle Park and the Resolution Run 5K at 8 a.m. New Year’s Day at Airmen’s Heritage Park.

Retreat shows Soldiers how to be ‘Single And Strong’

Strong Bonds is usually a retreat focused on married couples, but has expanded to focus on single Soldiers. The three-day event taught the group how to have healthy relationships in their personal lives and at work.

The Air Force Design Award recognizes civil engineers who contribute to innovative building designs across the force.

JBSA bowling centers offer holiday activities

Joint Base San Antonio bowling centers will be offering family activities, a giveaway and special game rates for bowlers during the holiday season.
