Unique rehab center at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston gets injured military back on duty
November 30, 2016 — Not long after receiving innovative care for serious combat-related injuries, Air Force 2nd Lt. Marc Esposito gave his future wife a tour of the unique rehabilitation center that helped the Air Force special operator get back to jumping out of planes. The state-of-the-art setting cast with advanced technology inside the Center for the Intrepid at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston impressed Elizabeth Russell Esposito so much that she took a job there. ... They will advance to compete in the 2017 Sandhurst Competition, an international competition held at the United States Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., against eight other ROTC programs, 16 international teams and multiple teams from the various military academies.
