CCATT Pilot Unit sparks innovation in Chilean program

Brooke Army Medical Center deploys HIPAA-compliant secure messaging app

Hearts Apart is a program provided by the M&FRC for service members and their families to stay connected and access resources to help them navigate the challenges of deployment. At the core of the program are monthly events for spouses, allowing them the opportunity to network with other deployed families and ask questions of M&FRC specialists.

Bimonthly workshops planned at JBSA-Randolph for EFMP families

A dependent with special needs and disabilities has a group of JBSA medical professionals, therapists, child development specialists and representatives from the Exceptional Family Member Program who come up with a plan for caregivers to follow in helping the child develop. The team includes the parents of the child with special needs and/or disabilities and caregivers, both of whom provide input on the child’s developing needs.
