Deployment Processing Center prepares Airmen for GWOT

Basic Combat Convoy Course graduates walk to board an aircraft at Kelly Field Annex. Approximately 150 BC3 graduates deployed Monday in support of the Global War on Terrorism. BC3 trains Air Force transportation Airmen in the basic combat skills required to integrate with Joint Forces in hostile convoy operations. The 37th Training Wing runs the mentally and physically challenging course at Camp Bullis. The Airmen receive approximately 300 hours of rigorous training in 30 days to prepare them for security escort and line haul missions with coalition convoys supporting the GWOT.
