Local TACP to compete at Warrior Games

Tech. Sgt. Israel Del Toro, a Tactical Air Control Party instructor and recruiter at the 342nd Training Squadron at Lackland Air Force Base, TX, is one of the 200 athletes who will be competing in the Warrior Games May 10 through 14 in Colorado Springs, Colo.  Injured, wounded or ill members of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard  will be competing at the inaugural Warrior Games. Sergeant Del Toro was severely injured in 2005 when his Humvee ran over an improvised explosive device while he was working outside the wire in Afghanistan.
