The program’s clinical coordinator, Jeffrey Bruce, built the horse and brought it to the occupational therapy assistant program’s workshop for students and staff to help finish. The occupational therapy assistant program workshop allows students to learn therapeutic techniques that will help patients increase tolerance to specific activities, improve motor control and increase strength and balance.
