U.S. Army North gets assist from Logistics Civil Augmentation Program in Puerto Rico relief efforts
March 29, 2018 — Within three days of notification, a Logistics Civil Augmentation Program lead team was in Puerto Rico following the worst recorded hurricane to hit the Caribbean island. Also known as LOGCAP, it supported U.S. Army North in what was dubbed the “Hurricane Maria Relief Efforts.” ... MORE

Shown is a part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Task Force power project. LOGCAP provided logistics support to the downloading of ships at the Port of Ponce in Puerto Rico. This sea port served as a debarkation point for receipt, inventory and issue of electrical materials used in the reconstruction of the electrical grid.
