Upgrades enhance visitor experience at AMEDD Museum
November 9, 2017 — The U.S. Army Medical Department, or AMEDD, Museum at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston is upgrading its exhibit area and some of its facilities to enhance the museum experience for its visitors... MORE

George Wunderlich, U.S. Army Medical Department Museum director, points to a section of historical photos and prints in the museum’s revamped AMEDD Regimental Room, which is used for various activities from change of command and retirement ceremonies to receptions to training demonstrations. The renovations to the room are part of several improvements being made at the museum to enhance the visitor experience.

In addition, military members are not immune to the dangers of drinking and driving as 146 active-duty personnel died in vehicle crashes worldwide in 2016, with 60 percent of those accidents alcohol related.
