This course will challenge you to discover the duties, responsibilities, and skills you must practice to become a successful Air Force supervisor and leader.

The Rogers Airman Leadership School mission is to forge leaders through exemplary PME to inspire excellence in the face of adversity.

Course Curriculum
The Airman Leadership School (ALS) curriculum is broken down into five units of
instruction that focus on providing senior airmen with the knowledge, skills, and
understanding necessary to succeed as supervisors in the military environment:
The Enlisted Leader, The Enlisted Supervisor, The Enlisted Communicator, The Enlisted
Problem-Solver, and the Enlisted Warfighter.

The Things We Carry

This series is a campaign for resilience through a variety of video interviews telling personal stories from the Joint Base San Antonio community and highlighting key base resiliency services and helping agencies.

WELCOME FROM THE COMMANDANT

MSgt Nicole R. Buchheit

Congratulations on your selection to attend Airman Leadership School (ALS)! You are about to embark on a 5-week journey designed to bring out the best in you, grow you as a leader, and educate you as a supervisor.

The ALS curriculum is rigorous! You will need to mentally prepare yourself and your family for the increased workload over the next five and a half weeks since you will have reading and homework assignments that demand additional time outside the duty day. You may also have class obligations or activities that require your time during weekends and it is best for all impacted to be prepared.

Be prepared for some tough days, some great days, and rewarding days by coming with an open mind and a positive attitude! We are excited to be on this journey with you!
