JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas –
The 502nd Air Base Wing has implemented new procedures for customers requiring new identification cards, common access cards and Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System services.
To reduce excessive wait times experienced by customers, the 502nd ABW replaced pre-existing walk-in customer services available at its main Joint Base San Antonio ID Card/CAC issuance facilities with an all-day, appointment-only process for service members, retirees, dependents, civil service employees and contractors.
Appointment times are between 8 a.m. and 3:20 p.m. Monday through Friday. Appointments are scheduled in 20-minute intervals.
These changes to ID Card/CAC and DEERS services only affect the main DEERS ID Card/CAC issuance facilities at these locations:
