Chilled-water storage tank planned for site of demolished housing facility

Bldg. 381 is demolished recently to make way for a chilled-water storage tank, part of a $13 million energy-saving initiative at Randolph. The tank, a thermal engery storage unit, is part of a centralized unit of water chillers, TES units and pipes that will save Randolph an estimated 16 percent on it's overall utility bill. Randolph's mission support group becomes joint base's first unit
