A United Service Organizations San Antonio is parked while making deliveries to Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston and Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, April 17, 2020. This week deliveries have occurred daily to those in quarantine, those continuing the training pipeline while observing social distancing regulations, and the ERPSS (En Route Patient Staging System Team) for the Wounded Warriors. This week's deliveries served over 18,000 with grab and go snacks, meal to go boxes, hygiene products, and other essential items.

Maricah Frank, a student at Cole High School located at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, took this photo of upside down troop helmets filled with personal items and equipment in the parking lot in front of the old Brooke Army Medical Center at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston. The photo, titled “Field Day,” is one of 101 images submitted by students in the Cole photography program that are included in an exhibit at the Fort Sam Houston Museum that opened Dec. 10.

Armed Forces River Parade highlights ties to military families, community

This year's theme was "Salute Our Heroes." The parade promotes awareness of the joint presence and ties to the military families and community. Bexar County designated as nonattainment for ozone
