JBSA activates webpage to disseminate most current mold mitigation information

The 502nd Air Base Wing has activated a new page on their website to address mold concerns at JBSA. Here, residents can find information on what to do if mold has damaged their property, background information on the issue and what the command is doing to remediate the matter.

Air Force Day at the Alamo showcases partnership with San Antonio

Power outage at JBSA-Lackland

Civil engineers are currently responding to a power outage at JBSA-Lackland. Affected facilities include the AAFES Main Exchange, Commissary, Youth Center, golf course, and satellite pharmacy. Due to the outage, these facilities will not be opening at their normally scheduled times. 

Gate hours remain unchanged and updates will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.

The new Wilford Hall welcomes its first patient with ribbon cutting

The 59th Medical Wing's new Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center officially opened with a ribbon cutting today, June 7, on Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The 59th MDW identified Master Sgt. Karrin Hatcher as it's first official patient to be seen in the $418 million, 682,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility. Wilford Hall is the U.S. Air Force's flagship medical facility for outpatient care. The building features four wings, on four floors, housing more than 25 outpatient clinic and clinical services.
