264th Medical Battalion Soldiers volunteer at San Antonio Food Bank

A total of 25 volunteers, including Soldiers and family members from the 264th Medical Battalion, 32nd Medical Brigade at Fort Sam Houston, came out to support the San Antonio Food Bank July 25, contributing three hours sorting and packing perishable food items. A total of 16,000 pounds of food were sorted and packed, providing more than 8,500 meals for area families in need. The San Antonio Food Bank provides food and grocery products to more than 500 partner agencies in 16 counties throughout Southwest Texas.
