Roger Towberman, 25th Air Force command chief, met with 480th and 363rd Intelligence, Reconnaissance and Surveillance Wing Airmen during a visit to Joint Base Langley-Eustis Apr. 25 and 26. During his visit he held two town hall meetings and visited ISR Airmen to find out about the issues that concern them.

Emergency preparedness liaison officers get ready for disaster response

Lt. Gen. Jeffrey S. Buchanan, commander, U.S. Army North, gave the opening remarks to the emergency preparedness liaison officers, or EPLOs, at the annual Joint Defense Support of Civil Authorities Preparedness Workshop held May 15-19 in San Antonio. The workshop brought EPLOs together to share ideas and better prepare for disaster response. EPLOs are military officers from each of the branches of service who are responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing the Department of Defense response to requests for assistance from state, local, and tribal authorities.
