Tet Offensive veterans changed the way security forces operates

Surviving veterans part of the Tet Offensive (Jan. 31, 1968) and their loved ones gathered for a commemoration ceremony and  presentation of the Security Forces Battle Cross to the Security Forces Museum at Joint Base San Antonio- Lackland, Texas Jan. 31, 2018. Guest speaker retired Col. Bernie DeNisio (Security Police), Silver Star recipient spoke on the events of that operation and how it changed the course of history.
