November 2, 2018 — On Sept. 18, 2018, a T-6A Texan II training sortie from JBSA-Randolph experienced an in-flight emergency requiring the pilots to eject from the aircraft. The investigation is underway. Navon Martin, Mental Health Clinic flight chief receives a faux black eye and neck trauma Oct. 26 during the Black Eye Campaign at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center on Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. During the campaign, volunteers simulated a black eye or other sign of trauma to see who would ask them about their “injury” in an effort to raise awareness of domestic violence.
