NMETLC volunteer effort helps hungry across southwest Texas

Wilson announced her resignation in March after she was selected to be president of the University of Texas, El Paso; her last day as Air Force secretary was May 31, 2019.

24th Air Force hosts NAF-wide cyber competition

Teams compete in offensive and defensive cyber operations during the 2019 24th Air Force Cyber Competition at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland June 3-7. Eighty-three Airmen from 20 units across the 24th AF competed in the cyber capture-the-flag in hopes of having their names etched on the Cyber Cup.

Sailor 360 hosts cardboard boat race at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston

Sailors assigned to Navy Medicine Training Support Command, Defense Health Agency and Navy Medicine Education, Training and Logistics Command completed in a cardboard boat race as part of a Sailor 360 event at the Medicine Education Training Campus. The event was part of Sailor 360, a Navy initiative to develop innovative and creative command-developed leadership programs.

Cross-functional team receives national award for BAMC Secretarial Designee program

Members of the Brooke Army Medical Center Secretarial Designee Cost Analysis Team receive the 2018 Distinguished Team Award from the American Society of Military Comptrollers at the ASMC Professional Development Institute May 29 in San Antonio. The SECDES program gives BAMC the ability to treat critically injured patients who would not otherwise be eligible to receive care at a military treatment facility.
