The U.S. Air Force's parachute team, the Wings of Blue, placed first and second in the U.S. Parachuting Association Nationals Competition's 4-Way Formation Skydiving (Advanced Category) event this week. The Air Force Paradigm team took first place, the Air Force Legacy team placed second. Fire Prevention Week was established to commemorate the Great Chicago Fire, the tragic 1871 conflagration that killed more than 250 people, left 100,000 homeless, destroyed more than 17,400 structures and burned more than 2,000 acres.
