Army Medical Command training program teaches patient calming skills

Military medical professionals practice de-escalation and therapeutic containment techniques, known as Prevention and Management of Disrupted Behavior-Military, during a training session April 13 at the U.S. Army Medical Department Center and School. The session was part of a week-long training program for military medical professionals, who learned skills that will help them calm and settle down patients in crisis at military treatment facilities.

Oliver is one of several retiring government-owned animals, dogs and cats, who are being put up for adoption so they can be placed in a new home.

Even though Oliver is 10 years old and is starting to get some grey hair on his muzzle, one would never guess he is this old because he still loves to run and play. He gets along well with other dogs.
