JBSA tax centers open for business

Volunteers at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, JBSA-Lackland, and JBSA-Randolph will operate tax centers for eligible active duty members and military retirees. The tax centers provide free tax preparation and electronic filing for federal and state tax returns.

Tax center helps service members realize $4.17 million in refunds
April 20, 2018 — The Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston Tax Center processed more than 2,111 federal and more than 200 state returns. The tax center was able to reach more than 3,400 clients and returned more than $4.17 million in the form of refunds to the community... MORE

The Tax Center processed more than 2,111 Federal and more than 200 State returns. The tax center was able to reach more than 3,400 clients and returned more than 4.17 Million dollars in the form of refunds to the community. The Tax Center also saved the JBSA-FSH Community more than $434,000 in filing and preparation fees.
