Airmen’s Week is a five-day course implemented in March 2015 that helps Airmen better prepare for technical training school and beyond.

Airmen who will soon complete Airmen’s Week listen as Secretary of the Air Force Deborah Lee James addresses them Aug. 27, 2015, at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland’s Pfingston Reception Center. The Airmen received a copy of Air Force Instruction 1-1, better known as the Little Blue Book. The book will be distributed to all new Airmen before transitioning to technical training and available online through Air Force e-publishing.
