AF JROTC course now offered to Lackland ISD students

Lackland Independent School District students listen as John Jay High School JROTC senior instructor, Col. A crosstown agreement between Lackland and Northside ISD will now allow Lackland ISD students at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland to enroll in its JROTC courses starting in the fall 2018.

International Airman Leadership School set to launch

Master Sgt. Amy Ferraro-Rodriguez, 837th Training Squadron instructor, provides professional military education training to international and civil service students during an International Airman Leadership School course Oct. 13, 2017 at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland Inter-American Air Forces Academy. The IALS teaches the same course imparted to military personnel in the grade of senior airman and staff sergeant or E-5 equivalent in the United States Air Force Total Force. This course is the foundational step in the professional development as it prepares individuals to assume greater leadership and responsibilities.
