METC-trained lab technicians meritoriously advanced
October 12, 2017 — Cmdr. Stacie Milavec, head of the laboratory department at U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa, Japan, and Chief Petty Officer Jane Nonthaveth, the laboratory department’s leading chief petty officer, hoped at least one of the three, first tour corpsmen they nominated under the Navy’s Meritorious Advancement Program, or MAP, would be selected for advancement.
