Lane Bourgeois, 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing historian, transcribes and edits a series of interviews conducted in Iraq, Jan. 6, 2012. In addition to 332nd AEW personnel, Bourgeois interviewed servicemembers at Camp Tarji and Imam Ali Air Base including a pararescueman, predator operator and maintenance chief. Once completed and signed by the interviewee, each transcript will appear on Bourgeois' monthly history report, which will be archived at the Air Force Historical Research Agency at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala. The flag was previously displayed at the Air Force theatre hospital, Balad Air Base, Iraq, from January 2007 to January 2008 and was donated to the 59th Medical Wing for display. Hepburn is commander of the 59th MDW and director of the San Antonio Military Health System. Lt. Col. Roger Suro, 39th Flying Training Squadron commander, poses in front of a P-39, the airframe assigned to the unit while it conducted antisubmarine patrols along the West Coast in the days and weeks following the attack on Pearl Harbor.
