Airman reflects on cancer battle, gives back with ‘passion project’
November 17, 2016
Tech. Sgt. Nathan Combs, 902nd Security Forces Squadron NCO in charge of resource protection, won his fight with cancer after being diagnosed with stage II non-seminoma testicular cancer in 2005. As a result of his experience, Combs has become a regular blood donor and leads blood drives at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph about every 90 days.

JBSA clinics offer mammograms in October

The mammography clinic at JBSA-Lackland’s Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center will offer mammograms Oct. 26 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. At JBSA-Randolph, the 359th Medical Group will offer mammograms from 7:30 a.m. to noon and 1-3:30 p.m. every Friday during October as long as a provider submits a request.
