WEATHER UPDATE: Message from 502 ABW and Installation Commander
January 14, 2024
— WEATHER UPDATE: The 502 ABW Command team, weather team, and civil engineers continue to monitor the incoming cold weather. We will quickly inform if there are any changes to services across JBSA via JBSA social media, our website (JBSA.mil), and the JBSA Connect App. However, at this time, and based on the forecast, I do not intend to direct any planned reductions in services across JBSA. Our civil engineer professionals have established ops centers and stand at the ready to respond if there are any facility issues resulting from low temperatures. I ask that all personnel who work, train, and live at JBSA take appropriate measures to prepare for the upcoming cold, and exercise sound risk management. Read https://www.jbsa.mil/.../special-weather-statement.../ for information on how to prepare for cold weather. Please work closely through your chain of command if circumstances require a change to your normal work routine. -Brig Gen Driggers...
