59th MDW: service hours changing May 4

San Antonio beneficiaries, please be advised the 59th Medical Wing service hours are changing.

Starting 4 May 2022 all medical facilities will open at 9:15 a.m. every Wednesday to accommodate training. The Family Emergency Center, Dunn Dental Clinic sick call and Randolph Dental sick call will remain open for emergent issues.

Due to an increase in cases, the WHASC is conducting a drive-through COVID-19 testing available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the first floor of the parking garage. Since the testing site uses the polymerase chain reaction tests, the results are available to patients through TRICARE Online within 24 to 72 hours.

Pulmonary trains with new equipment for a Cardiopulmonary Exercise Test. The CPET is a clinical tool that evaluates exercise capacity and determine cardiac or lung conditions. It assesses the patient's exercise responses involving the pulmonary, cardiovascular and skeletal muscle systems.
