RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas –
Eighteen Team Randolph senior master sergeants were notified of their selection to chief master sergeant Nov. 14.
The 18 were from 416 senior master sergeants to learn of their promotion to chief master sergeant online as the Air Force moves to virtual promotions notification.

The complete select list is available on the Air Force Personnel Center public Web site. Virtual notification is part of the Air Force's personnel services delivery concept to provide Airmen the information they need when they need it.
"I'm very proud of the accomplishments of the men and women of Team Randolph who have reached the top one percent of the total enlisted force," said Chief Master Sgt. Stephen Page, 12th Flying Training Wing command chief. "I am confident that those selected for chief master sergeant will succeed in shaping and molding our future generation of Airmen."
The board, which convened Oct 15-25, considered 2,476 senior master sergeants for a 16.80 percent select rate. Last year's selection rate was 16.85 percent.
The average score for those selected was 671.39 with an average time in grade and time in service of 3.04 and 23.49 years, respectively.
The average score was based on the following point averages:
· 135 for enlisted performance reports;
· 27.75 for time in grade;
· 23.75 for time in service;
· 24.29 for decorations;
· 66.35 for Air Force supervisory examination; and
· 394.25 for board score.
Those selected will be promoted to E-9 beginning in January.
