Nine graduate from Gaylor Airman Leadership School

Nine senior airmen graduated from the Joint Base San Antonio Airman Leadership School and were recognized for their achievements during a graduation ceremony May
24 at the Gateway Club, Lackland Air Force Base.

The Airmen successfully completed 24 academic duty-days consisting of 192 hours of classroom instruction in supervisory communicator, supervisor of Airmen, military professional and expeditionary airman. Three of these Airmen were presented special awards during the ceremony.

Senior Airman Eric Plack, 902nd Comptroller Squadron, earned the John L. Levitow Award while Senior Airman Tiffany Jones, 902nd Force Support Squadron, received the
Academic Achievement Award. The Commandant Award winner was Senior Airman Eric Simmoms, 902nd Security Forces Squadron.

Other graduates were:
· Senior Airman Jessica Padua, 59th Mental Health Squadron
· Senior Airman Warren Richardson Jr, 341st Recruiter Squadron
· Senior Airman Arthur Shaw II, 902nd SFS
· Senior Airman Heather Blackham, Air Force Personnel Center
· Senior Airman Amanda Huber, 383rd Training Squadron
· Senior Airman Janai Stanley, AFPC

The guest speaker was Chief Master Sgt. Emmette Bush, Air Education and
Training Command first sergeant. The ALS is affiliated with the Community College of the Air Force through Enlisted Professional Military Education. The graduates are awarded 10 semester hours toward a CCAF degree.
