Air Force Manpower Analysis Agency dedicates training room

Air Force Manpower Analysis Agency Public Affairs

The late Marcus L. Carter's contributions to the Manpower Enterprise training program were recognized with the renaming of the “fishbowl” training room during a ribbon-cutting dedication on July 10, 2024, at Air Force Manpower Analysis Agency headquarters at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas.

Col. Carl R. Pawling and Mrs. Carter jointly cut the ribbon, marking the official dedication of the new Marcus L. Carter Room. Dr. Laura Walden, Director of Manpower Enterprise Training and Engagement, delivered opening remarks followed by Willy Fletcher, a longtime colleague of Carter.

Carter, a dedicated federal employee and military veteran, made significant contributions to the Air Force training mission. His efforts at AFMAA, particularly during the 2021 reorganization and the establishment of the Manpower Enterprise Training Program, left an enduring impact on training initiatives. His work contributed to interactive multimedia training solutions targeted at senior enlisted members of the manpower profession, ensuring a full lifecycle of training continuity.

Carter died while a member of the AFMAA/MT staff not long after the agency reached full operational capability. His name was selected for rededicating the Manpower Training conference room to memorialize his contribution to this schoolhouse and the profession.
