JOINT BASE SN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas –
The 149th Fighter Wing at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, part of the Texas Air National Guard, hosted an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve “Boss Lift” on Oct. 21, where civilian employers of Guardsmen get the opportunity to see first-hand what their employees do when away for drill, training, or deployments.
The Boss Lift is a way for the 149th Fighter Wing to give back to employers for their continued support of their Guardsmen and Reserve employees.
Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, or ESGR, is the leading Department of Defense program promoting cooperation and understanding between civilian employers and their National Guard and Reserve employees.
