FALLS CHURCH, Va. –
Two members of the 59th Medical Wing were among the recipients of the 2022 Air Force Medical Service Annual Awards. The awards include both individual and team awards.
Capt. Christina M. Loughery, with the 59th Training Support Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis, was selected as U.S. Air Force Nursing Educator of the Year. Staff Sgt. Charles P.E. Kimble II, from the 59th Medical Logistics and Readiness Squadron at JBSA-Lackland, was selected as U.S. Air Force Biomedical Equipment Technician NCO of the Year, according to a release from the Air Force Surgeon General's office.
The nominations submitted reflect the extraordinary quality of Air Force medics. The accomplishments of those recognized demonstrate expertise, leadership and commitment across the full breadth of the mission support we provide to the Department of the Air Force and Combatant Commanders. We also acknowledge the hard work and support of Wingmen, fellow medical professionals, at every level, who enabled success.
