LACKLAND AIR FORCE BASE, TEXAS –
The Air Force Bowling Team concluded its team selection process here Jan. 3, with eight members making the cut among 50 competitors.
Four women and four men gained spots on the team and are currently competing at the Armed Forces Bowling Championship at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii.
This year, the Armed Forces Championship will feature a combined total pin score instead of separate men's and women's team events.
The women's division consists of:

Trish Rodgers, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, 177.67 average;

Carol Becker is Melody McTaggart's mother. "I'm definitely very happy to be going with my mom to Hawaii. She has been my coach my whole life."
McTaggart and Becker will compete as doubles partners at the Armed Forces Bowling Championship.
The men's division members are:
