JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas —
Jacqueline Davis(left), Fort Sam Houston Museum director, shows Mary Jean Eisenhower, granddaughter of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, artifacts from her grandfather's life, during her visit to the Fort Sam Houston Museum Nov. 22.

During her visit, Eisenhower also toured the U.S. Army North headquarters and visited the Eisenhower quarters, still in use today. President Eisenhower was stationed at Fort Sam Houston both as a lieutenant and a colonel, and he even met his wife, Mamie, at the Army post.
