JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas –
Brig. Gen. George M. “Moose” Reynolds, 25th Air Force vice commander, visited the 433rd Airlift Wing at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland Nov. 2.
Col. Gregory P. Haynes, 433rd Operations Group commander, and Lt. Col. James C. Miller, 433rd OG deputy commander, presented the Alamo Wing’s mission brief followed by a tour of a static C-5M Super Galaxy.
A member of Reynold’s group, David J. Kaplan, Kaplan Public Service Foundation president, was impressed.
“Awesome,” Kaplan said. “I was thoroughly impressed with the Airmen, the C-5 and its capability, and the importance it plays in both the Air Force and its mission around the world."
Lt. Col. Ryan A. Clark, 356th Airlift Squadron flight instructor, guided the tour around the aircraft.
“The aircraft tour was incredible,” Reynolds said. “Not only was the C-5M impressive, but the crew did a masterful job explaining your mission. The Airmen of the 433rd AW love their mission.”
The 433rd AW was among several stops around JBSA-Lackland.
