Saturday hours added at JBSA-Randolph base exchange pharmacy

Deanna Moore, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph pharmacy technician, fills prescriptions April 20 in the base exchange pharmacy. The Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph Exchange pharmacy is open from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday for refill pickup and previously dropped off civilian paper prescriptions. The full-scale Basic Military Training Graduation Parade is the only military graduation incorporated into Fiesta and features more than 1,000 distinctive military members and the 323rd Training Squadron Drum and Bugle Corps. Fiesta San Antonio, the city's 11-day cascarón-filled celebration, began as a one-time parade in 1891 to honor the memory of the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. Over the past century, Fiesta has grown into a celebration of San Antonio's rich and diverse cultures. Josh Jasper, Mentors in Violence Prevention Program facilitator, briefs military and civilians on sexual assault prevention April 10 at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph’s Fleenor Auditorium. During the event, Jasper led a discussion through a multimedia presentation called the ‘Power of the Pyramid’ using dozens of media and pop culture examples to illustrate how seemingly harmless behavior can progress to violence.
