Children at the Lackland Youth Center begin Earth Week activities by planting trees April 20. The base celebrated Earth Week with activities designed to educate Airmen about the importance of conserving and preserving the Earth's natural resources. Activities included a slogan contest at Lackland Elementary School, a golf tournament, and an informational campaign at the base exchange.
