Threat Awareness & Reporting Program (TARP)

Dept of the Army Counterintelligence Badge

The U.S. Army Threat Awareness and Reporting Program (TARP) provides awareness to the military community regarding the threats posed by insiders.

The U.S. Army Counterintelligence Field Office at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston offers TARP Training in accordance with Army Regulations 350-1 and 381-12 the first Wednesday of every month at 10:30 a.m. in the Blesse Auditorium, located on the first floor of the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence, or MEDCoE, building 2841.

This is mandatory annual training for all U.S. Army active duty Soldiers, Department of the Army civilians and all supporting contractors.  All training is tracked at the unit level, so all units are encouraged to designate someone to verify attendance of their personnel as a sign-in roster is not maintained for each briefing.

Use of this facility is at the discretion of MEDCoE and therefore, SUBJECT TO CHANGE based on organizational requirements. It is recommended people confirm the dates and time with their security office prior to attendance.

For additional information, contact the U.S. Army Counterintelligence South Texas Office at 210-295-7749.
