Military & Family Life Counselors

Military and Family Life Counselors (MFLC) are licensed professionals who provide situational, problem-solving counseling anonymously and confidentially. No written records are kept, and it is free to military and their family members.

They also work hand-in-hand with existing services to provide counseling, education and training support on topics such as: Combat stress and coping strategies; emotional cycle of deployment and reintegration; communication; relationship issues and re-establishing intimacy; anger management/conflict resolution; parenting skills; children's reaction to deployment and reunion.

Commanders and Units as well as Service Members and their Families can request a consultation.
Benefits of hosting a consultation:

• Provide informal easy to access information.
• Outreach to familes and service members that are geographically dispersed such as National Guard & Reserve families.
• Conduct individual or group coaching and training sessions that address particular needs.
(reunion, meeting your baby for the first time, parenting after deployment, and more)
