U.S. Army Health Contracting Activity Welcomes New Commander

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas - At a change of command ceremony for the U.S. Army Health Contracting Activity at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston on July 12, are (from left) Col. Michelle Lewis, incoming USAHCA commander; Lt. Gen. Mary K. Izaguirre, U.S. Army Surgeon General and Commanding General, U.S. Army Medical Command; and outgoung commander, Col. Anthony K. Whitfield. The U.S. Army Health Contracting Activity enhances Army Medicine globally through the power of contracting for the total Army force, families, and veterans. It provides medical contract support that increases efficiency and enhances responsiveness to the needs of the Army.
