US-Mexico border conference focuses on common goals

Two U.S. Border Patrol Officers chat before the start of the annual Border Commanders Conference. More than 30 generals and senior leaders from across the Department of Defense; U.S. Army North (Fifth Army) and it’s subordinate units; Arizona, New Mexico and Texas National Guard along with U.S. Customs and Border Patrol; and Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (SEDENA) of the Mexican Army met for the annual Border Commanders Conference to discuss current trends taking place along the U.S-Mexico border in Tucson, Ariz., April 3-6.

Regional border conference strengthens partnerships
