First Airmen graduate BMT proof of concept at Keesler Air Force Base

Military training instructors lead graduating Airmen onto the drill pad during the basic military training graduation ceremony at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, May 15, 2020. Nearly 60 Airmen from the 37th Training Wing Detachment 5 completed the six-week basic military training course. Due to safety concerns stemming from COVID-19, the Air Force sent new recruits to Keesler to demonstrate a proof of concept to generate the force at multiple locations during contingencies. IAAFA hosts second-ever Professional Development Seminar with Peruvian Military in Peru

The Inter-American Air Force’s Academy hosted this second-ever Officer and Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Seminar and Subject Matter Expert Exchange with members of the Peruvian Army, Air Force, and Navy, in Lima, Peru, March 9-12. 
The goal for this PME seminar was to create an opportunity to increase collaboration, share experiences and lessons learned and showcase the importance of leadership training for officers and enlisted military members at all levels to enhance interoperability and mission success.

U.S. Air Force Capt. Jay Pothula, Det. 24 Pilot Training Next instructor; Derrick Ng, NASA aerospace engineer intern; and Alex Garbino, NASA extravehicular activities physiologist, monitors 2nd Lt.
